The portable goals (15x7) will be used to facilitate this format.

WHY ARE REBEL ÓG COACHING ORGANISING THIS BLITZ?

Some clubs may feel they are not getting enough competition for this cohort of players and by entering this novel event, clubs will provide quality game time for all players.

IF GAMES ARE PLAYED IN TO SMALL GOALS AND ARE NOT 15 A SIDE IS THIS GOING TO BE A “MICKY MOUSE” EVENT?

This blitz format has run for the past 5 years through Munster Council.

The players who take part have really enjoyed the change of format and found the games to be fast, intense, physically demanding and good fun.

WHAT CODE SHOULD MY CLUB ENTER?

As there is going to be another Super 10’s competition coming up on the 30th May, clubs should enter 1 code now and then enter the other code on May 30th.

The May 30th event is run by Munster Council and clubs will have to travel either within Cork or outside the county depending on the draw and groupings.

Clubs who win their groups on 30th May then progress to finals on the 13th June in Mallow.
