INFORMATION ON SKILLS HUB FROM GDA PAT SPRATT

The Lenovo GAA Skills Hubs, is a collaboration between Lenovo and The Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), Gaelic Players Association (GPA) and the Camogie Association.

 
The initiative offers the chance for young people (boys & girls)  between 13 to 16 years of age, the opportunity to learn Football, Hurling and camogie skills from their inter county heroes and heroines, in high quality venues across the country this summer.


The Lenovo Skills Hub in Mallow GAA will take place from Aug 11th to Aug 14th  From 3pm to 5.30pm each day.

Closing date is Aug 9th. The Cost is €50.

All participants receive a training top and entry in to a competition to win Lenovo products.

We are inviting all clubs in Cork to send boys & girls between 13 and 16 years of age to Mallow. 

We would be grateful if you could notify the club U14 and U16 managers and players in your club about this fantastic opportunity. 

 
At the Lenovo GAA Skills Hub, activities will include conditioned games, skills development, mental preparation, sports nutrition and athletic development, all led by Orla, Cormac, Doireann & Brian.

 

Key Features:

•          Specially designed initiative for teenagers 13 to 16 years old 

•          Coaching of key skills (shooting, blocking, tackling) 

•          Break-out sessions on nutrition, inter county experiences, strength and conditioning games, mental preparation

•          Competitions to win Lenovo products at each camp
