U21 Championships Complete
Both our U21 Football Championships have been completed in the past week with victories going to Kilworth in the U21 B Championship and Fermoy in the U21 A Championship
Both Avondhu Teams lose Narrowly
In the past week both our Senior teams tasted defeat in their first round games in this year County Senior Championships. The Hurlers were defeated by UCC on a Score line of 1-18 to 2-17 in Fermoy last Tuesday night while the footballers suffered a 4 point defeat at the hands of Duhallow on a score of 1-11 to 1-07 also in Fermoy last Thursday night. This means we now go into round 2 of the Championship where we meet Muskerry in both Football and Hurling. First up in Round 2 are the Hurlers who take on Muskerry in Mallow on Thursday 4/4/13 @ 7 30pm. While the footballers are out a week later again against Muskerry in Riverstown on the 11/4/13 @ 7 30pm

Board Meeting tonight
At tonight's Avondhu Board Meeting the Master Fixture Plan was Ratified.
Junior A Football Championship Preliminary Rounds were Ratifed as were Quarter Finals of the JB1Football Championship see www.avondhugaa.com for More.
The Launch of our Football Championships will take place on 17/4/13 in Mallow gaa complex @ 8 30pm all clubs involved are to have a player with Club Jersey Present on the Night
Best wishes were extended to the Buttevant instrumental Music Group who take part in the Scor Munster Final this weekend.
