With Killavullen claiming their first Junior A HC title two weeks ago there was another first for Liscarroll/Churchtown Gaels at Mallow when they ran out worthy winners over Charleville to claim their first ever title.

Over the hour the winners showed the greater teamwork, hunger and urgency as they built up a commanding lead. Seán Killeen was in devastating form at wing-back and on a number of occasions his bursts out of their defence caused countless problems to the Rathluirc backline.
